My First BIG Goal - June 25

You see, THIS LITTLE BABY will be turning ONE on June 25. I still can't even believe that I have been blessed with such an amazing, beautiful baby girl. When she entered my world, it changed. My life became so much more meaningful, and just plain FULL. I love her more than I ever thought possible. She is my reason for this journey. She is my reason for everything I do in life. 


My first major goal in my journey is to be under 200 pounds by the time she turns one. This gives me about two full months to lose about 20 pounds. Honestly, I'm not sure I can do it - but I am going to try VERY hard to do it. I have 8 weeks. If I could lose 2 pounds per week, that's 18 (I'm weighing in at about 218 right now). There can be weeks where I will lose more and weeks where I will lose less - but if I average 2 per week, I can do it. I can do it for Jolene, and I can do it for myself.

  1. Good luck! I know you can do it. Setting a good goal was always helpful for me! I know you'll get to that goal!

  6. Your baby girl looks so innocent and beautiful, you must be a happy mom. As for your goal to lose 20 pounds, I'd say is a reasonable goal for 8 weeks and you can do it, if you really want to. Keep in mind that this positive change of your body weight will bring other positive things in your life and focus your attention on your future look. Good luck! I'll check you blog from time to time to see how you're doing.

  9. So excited for you! Nothing can motivate you better to get healthy than to do it for family and for yourself. It's going to be a rough ride but you will get there and you will fee amazing! I am inspired to do the same, thanks for sharing this and please keep us posted!
